THE

BEGINNING OF SORROWS

TSUNAMI

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Matthew 24:8

Over 300.000 Killed

As the entire world watched, the televised pictures began to emerge from what now has become the greatest disaster of our lifetime, maybe since the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Is G-d trying to tell the world something, or is this just another problem with nature? We must understand that G-d controls nature.

The Scriptures speak of a time within the last days when there would be sorrows come to this earth. I watched as the great minds of this world tried to give us all the answers as to why this devastation took place. The scientific community took the stance of the earth going through a stage of redoing itself. Never throughout all this did anyone that I heard of wonder if G-d was behind this. One newscaster mentioned in jest that this could be the cause.

I had hoped that our national ministers would say from their lofty heights that indeed G-d was in all that had happened. But, to no avail was there any mention of  G-d being involved.

I would like to share of the vision G-d gave me of the event a number of years ago. I was at the beach in Madras, India. The beach there can reach up to a mile wide in places during low tide. I had just been to visit where the apostle Thomas was buried. The vision came, and I saw a great tidal wave coming on shore and many thousands were killed. I told the people in the meeting that I was in that night that there was going to be this great tidal wave and they should seek the L-rd on their country's behalf. Up and down the eastern part of India, the tidal wave struck killing thousands.

G-d isn’t happy with this world, and He is trying to get the attention of all the world before it is too late. I realize this is contrary to the way most of the Church thinks, but it is imperative that the Church wake up out of the coma it has been in and understand.

 Exodus 19:14-18 [KVJ]

14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

G-d has almost from the beginning used the shaking of the earth (earthquakes) to get the attention of the people. There are a number of other scriptures that also give accounts of G-d moving in this manner.

 Matthew 27:50-54 [KVJ]

50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

 Matthew 28:1-2 [KVJ]

1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

These scriptures again show how our L-rd used earthquakes to show His presence.

 Acts 16:25-26 [KVJ]

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

This earthquake was used to free Paul and Silas.

 Revelation 6:12 [KVJ]

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

 Revelation 8:1-5 [KVJ]

1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Revelation 11:13, 19 [KVJ]

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Revelation 16:18-21 [KVJ]

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

These are all evidence of G-d using earthquakes. It would be absurd to think that He would not or could not use earthquakes today.

Matthew 24:7,8 [KVJ]

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The L-rd is telling the disciples that there shall be nation rising against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There would be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places. Then in the 8th verse, He tells them that these are the beginning of sorrows.

This world is in for a long and hard time, for we have now entered into this time of sorrows. The magnitude of the earthquake was nine of the scale used to determine the strength of earthquakes. I prophesied numbers of years ago that the earthquakes would become stronger and stronger as the time of the end grows closer. This is just the beginning of these stronger earthquakes.

Genesis 3:16 [KVJ]

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

This is the first time we read in G-d’s word about sorrows.

Psalms 16:1-7 [KVJ]

1 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

In verse 4, we are told that sorrow will be multiplied to those who hasten after another god. There is great opinion among the peoples of this world as to who the real G-d is. This seems to this writer as being the very problem that the living G-d is about to solve for all mankind.

Psalms 16:11 [KVJ]

11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

If we find the path of life and walk in it, there will be pleasures for evermore. These pleasures will not come where there is sin.

Twenty years ago, I had a vision of great earthquakes here in America. I saw in one of these visions an earthquake so strong that part of the state of California had fallen into the ocean. There were so many people killed, I saw the American flags lowered to honor the many thousands that had died. It was only the beginning of sorrows.

Sorrows are coming to this earth and there is nothing anyone can do about it. We have one choice, and that is to serve G-d in the fullness that He has asked for.

Psalms 32:1-11 [KVJ]

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide F97 thee with mine eye.

9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

We must be guided by G-d and not by the traditions of man. This is where the Church is going to have to anoint their eyes with eye salve that they may see.

Revelation 3:18 [KVJ]

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

In verse 10, the scripture tells us that many sorrows will be to the wicked. Who is it that G-d is going to protect during this time? Both Christians and Muslims perished during this latest disaster. We as Christians know why the Muslims died, but why did not G-d deliver the Christians? We must answer this if we are going to be able to survive the times of sorrow that has now come upon us.

Proverbs 10:22 [KVJ]

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

When the blessings of G-d come, there is no sorrow with it. Something is badly wrong somewhere if we as Christians have believed in G-d, and yet He was not able to deliver us during this time of disaster? Maybe it is not that He was not able to deliver us. Maybe it is because we are not serving Him as we need to. David kept the Torah (the Law) and G-d delivered him. Keeping the Law is the key to surviving in these last days.

Revelation 14:12 [KVJ]

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

This is what is going to make the difference in the times that we are living in; keeping the Commandments of  G-d and the faith of Jesus (Yeshua). I have articles covering this in much greater detail.

Revelation 18:1-8 [KVJ]

1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

The world is in great trouble and we must come out from among them that we receive not of the plagues that are coming to this earth. The only way this is going to be done is to serve the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and to keep the testimony of Christ.

Psalms 91 will protect us and keep us if we are living in and doing the words of G-d. With this and Yeshua (Jesus), we will become more than overcomers.

Psalms 91:1-16 [KVJ]

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
