ANOINTED

HANDKERCHIEFS

 

Isaiah 10:27 [KJV]

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

This scripture indicates that it is the anointing that destroys the yoke in our lives. I travel throughout the world watching the anointing of G-d save, heal, and deliver. There is something about the anointing that has always and will always intrigue me. Most people have to work by their faith in operation or a corporate anointing. Corporate anointing is the faith of the congregation rising up to cause people to be saved, healed, and delivered.

II Kings 2:7-15 [KVJ]

7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.

8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

The anointing was in the mantle of Elijah. When Elisha took that mantle into his hands, he immediately decided to try it out. He knew the anointing was in the mantle. He smote the waters and said, "Where is the L-rd G-d of Elijah?" The waters parted, and Elisha knew he had the anointing in his hands.

I have often asked the same question to the Church, "Where is the L-rd G-d of Elijah?" It seems that the anointing is not in the Church as it once was in the book of Acts.

I just returned from Malawi, Africa where I spent 9 days ministering out in the bush. I watched as G-d met the needs of the people. They were saved, healed, and delivered as the anointing kept breaking the yoke. The blind saw, the lame walked, the deaf heard, the deformed was healed, fevers were broken, and anything else one could think of. In all, we documented 96 miracle types of healings. Acts 5:12-16 [KJV]

12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Notice the people were healed just by the shadow of Peter falling upon them as he passed by. The anointing is really something, is it not?

 

Acts 19:11-12 [KJV]

11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

On the last day I ministered there, the L-rd spoke to me and told me to place two handkerchiefs in my belt and let them hang down at the sides of my pockets. He told me to minister the Word that way, and when the healing lines formed that I was to lay the handkerchiefs on people and watch the miracles happen. He told me not to say in the name of Jesus or anything, just lay the handkerchiefs on them. I did exactly as He told me to do, and He did the rest. Miracle after miracle happened. After I had finished laying the handkerchiefs on the people, everyone began to dance and shout the name of our L-rd.

As I too was dancing before the L-rd, a chief of a nearby village came into the church using a crutch to help him walk. Before I knew it, I had gone over to the chief and laid the handkerchiefs on him. He threw the crutch down and began to dance with me. G-d had healed the chief, and he knew it.

In over 25 years of ministry, I had never seen the L-rd do that. I had always used the name of Jesus to watch the anointing work. That day, I never prayed. I just merely laid the handkerchiefs on the people, and G-d did the rest. The people there were amazed  to see G-d do such a thing. I might add that this minister was also amazed. He is of a truth, a mighty G-d!
